Challenge [297]: Flaws In Design

Oct 23, 2012 22:29

Challenge: [297] The Masks We Wear
Title: Flaws In Design
Word Count: 100 exactly
Notes: No spoilers beyond KH1, though some very general references to FF7 and FF8. The problem Cid rants about here has always bothered me. Also, profanity. Because, well, Cid.

It ain’t right, making a kid do that. )

Ouch. That is an excellent point - though I always thought Donald was being an ass, because he didn't want to have to deal with an upset kid. <<

It always seemed to me to be the kind of thing that might be true in the Disney universe.

Doesn't stop it from being an idiotic design feature for an emergency vehicle. "It's not a bug, it's a feature"?

Oh, I agree on both points. It's terribly plausible, especially for a ship that came straight from Disney Castle, Smiling's Central Station. :D

>.<

You realize now I'm thinking that's why they crashed into Deep Jungle? That it wasn't them fighting over the wheel, it was them fighting and reaching some kind of critical level of unhappy faces that killed the stupid engine.

YES. That's always been my take on it.

Such a spectacularly bad idea.

*pffft*
Adorable, much love for your Cid.

I suspect the answer to be chipmunks ;)

I thought "chipmunks" too, as soon as I'd posted it.

Cid has always been my favorite character in FF7.
