Among things I've looked up for my area:
- Chess
- Performing Arts
- Movie Fans

I also tried 'hockey' and 'sabermetrics,' but sadly those don't have their own groups here. Rats!

I tried them when they first got mentioned in Reader's Digest a few years ago, and more recently when I remembered it by happenstance. Sadly, I can't find any active, interesting groups along my lines of interest. How has your luck been?

I found a chess event in a coffee shop that looked cool, but sadly I didn't join because I'm waiting for my updated car registration to arrive in the mail. Next time!
