I just listened to a podcast in which the guest said that she sang lullabyes about anal sex to her infant daughter. Her husband said "I know she can't understand it, but it just seems SO WRONG."
I guess the trick is to figure out the right cut-off time.
Then again, if I've learned anything from popular media it's that violence is alright, but consensual sex is an atrocity!
Ultimately it does seem to point to my ideal where I don't want to pretend a lot of things don't exist while raising my child, but at the same time I'd like to give proper context and make certain it's something he can handle/process at the time.
Luckily, I've got years to pretend I've got a plan.
