Lately I've been tuning into CBC Radio 2 during my commute to and from work, and I have to say that not only do I enjoy the fact that there are no commercials but also I hear music that I'm not certain the other local stations are touching

So far I've only been listening to Radio 2 during my commute and switching to Radio 1 for the remainder of the day... it makes me feel like I'm learning something! I'm definitely glad I've gotten on the Radio 2 bandwagon, though. I really didn't know where to even think of turning with the stations we've got here, but I was starting to feel like I was really missing out on the good music that I know has to be out there.

Ooh! Must remember to check those out, when I'm back in the warren. I stumbled upon Gotye's music somehow, and bought one of his albums soon after, on yonder iTunes Store, but I admit, I'm very fond of collecting good music videos - which, for whatever reasons that make sense only to themselves, the labels absolutely refuse to make available in HD, anywhere, except to broadcasters. Still, YouTube comes to the rescue, coupled with KEepVid's bookmarklet. ^_^

(Actually, I was just watching the vid for State of the Art on the train, on the way up here - visiting a friend/former roomie for the weekend)

I've definitely got to check out some more of his work. I might have to go to one of those crazy physical-medium stores!
