Christmas and New Year's Wish

Last night I observed a woman at McDonald's threaten to beat the drive thru worker up over some issue with her food. I couldn't hear the issue, but the woman yelling, using profanity, and threats of violence. I've seen that sort of thing once at a McDonalds. I don't understand it. Hell I hardly ever complain if they get my order right. I just eat it! >_>

The story about the letters totally made me want to write my grandmother. She lives here but I know she'd love to get letters.

I took your post to heart and acted on my instinct when my daughter shared that her manicurist (someone she has a good connection with) had called to cancel her appointment because her young daughter was in the hospital with blood poisoning. Poor thing- right before Christmas and self-employed on top of it- no work/no pay. We picked up a gift and a Target gift card for her. I know it won't make up for lost wages but sometimes just the effort and care can pull you through.
