And now the fun really begins! We're going to start rolling out the general discussion threads, one for every Keytus show. (For those of you who used to visit TWoP, this will be like the threads for shows who weren't getting the full reviews.) Please let us know if you would be interested in "hosting" one of those general threads ( Read more... )

and now a word from your mods

If it is okay with Quags and Irish, I say you definitely get Glee. I think you'd do a great job with that show. And bonus, your girl is appearing in this week's episode. ::must remember to check dvr::

Nope, being across the pond doesn't matter at all. :-) A general thread is really easy to set up. You just do it once and follow the model of my West Wing general thread.

The point of hosting is that you're saving us Mods from having to follow a show thread too closely, because we'll know that there's someone who WILL be keeping a general eye on things. (Which is a big help for us for shows we don't watch!)

Still interested?

What exactly is involved in hosting a general thread? I can probably do The Good Wife.

Hosting a general thread means that you'll set up the actual post (you can use my West Wing post as a model) and more importantly, you'll be reading all the posts, so we mods won't have to keep as close of an eye on things. But all you have to do is keep an eye on things. We'll step in should something ever go wrong (like a troll or some other sort of unpleasantness.)

Ok, count me in for hosting The Good Wife. :) So I should start a thread tomorrow then?

Yup, unless it turns out that Gatz or Irish are interested in the show, but I think you're safe. :-)

Thanks for taking this on!
