[He waits until the other is done recording the video before coming to sit down next to him. He had been through this before, both with Kairi and Sora, but this time was so much more painful than the first. Kairi had been there for him when Sora hadn't been, and they had grown closer because of it.

And now she was gone. She would go home and realize that when he told her he and Sora were never coming home he actually meant it.

His own sadness would wait until later, when he was alone. No one was ever allowed to see him falter. Not even Sora.]

I'm not leaving unless I have to, silly.

[He smiles softly, leaning in and pressing his lips into the mess of brown spikes, smoothing them back slowly.]

Well, I want you to be here, so...

[He smiles at Riku a bit. It's not his usual smile, there's a hint of sadness behind it for sure, but he's at least smiling. He leans in and presses a soft kiss to the male's lip, but keeps it brief.]

[He returns the other's smile, although his is mostly fake.]

[Yes, he's bringing it up, Riku. Deal with it.]

I'm sorry...for pushing you to tell me about stuff you think I didn't need to know about.

[He doesn't want to talk about it anymore.]

I am, but you're still mad at me.

I'm not.

[And it's a lie, because a part of him will probably always be mad at you for it. Not the actual events themselves, but pushing him to remember and relive them.]

You're not telling the truth.

[He knows you, Riku. He's been your best friend forever and now he's your boyfriend. Gotta learn to lie better.]

[And then Sora rolls off of Riku and snuggles up to his pillow instead.]

[He moves so he's laying next to the other. Not quite as close as he normally would, but still with in reach if Sora should want him.]

[Of course Sora wants him. He will always want his Riku around. So he turns and slides next to him. He presses his body against the other male's, finding comfort in the feel of it. He rests his head on Riku's shoulder and guides his leg between the other's, making sure they were intertwined.

As long as he had Riku here, even if there was a bit of distance between them at the moment, as long as he had his dawn here to keep him steady, he'd be okay.]

[He let's the other move closer to him, wrapping his arm around him loosely. He would wait until Sora fell asleep, truly asleep, and then he would go back to doing what needed to be done. Hopefully Sora would forgive him for not staying and sleeping with him, but he needed something to do, something to keep his mind off what was happening around him.

But for now he simply lay there, pressing his lips to the other's forehead, content to lay there for as long as it took.]
