Ashland is a wonderful experience, isn't it? I was there a few years ago and loved it all -- the plays, the town, the landscape, the food, our rental place, and of course the company-- Debbie and Alan and various friends of theirs.
The scene between Queen Katherine and her maid is hilarious if you're 12 years old and know enough gutter French to realize that they're making obscene puns.

Yes, Ashland was quite charming. The food was excellent. I don't think we had a single bad meal there.
