My Parents are the Best!

Jul 12, 2007 14:56

So after lots of talking and begging and convincing (and a little bit of arguing, that I'm pretty glad I wasn't actually a part of) with my parents, I've got my summer more or less figured out! Here it goes:

First up is a trip to Altamira, with that whole thing that the Lezareno Company's doing. I've already started packing for it, even though we're ( Read more... )

A little bit. Obaa-san and Dad have taught me some. They say it's important to keep in touch with our roots, even if we don't really get to go over there anymore.

You're going to go to Japan?? That sounds like a really exciting thing that you're going to do! Oh, I live in Japan, so that's kind of a coincidence, I think!

Yeah, it is! It's really exciting! Well, for me, anyway, since I've never set foot there before. I've only ever seen Japan from TV and in books and stuff.

Wow, so you live there, too?! That's so cool! What's it like?? Do you live in the big city areas??

In the part of Japan I live in, it's mostly just grass and dirt roads. It's a really nice place and is very pretty! Sometimes though, I go to the city parts and It's nice there too! I'm sure you'll have a really fun time in Japan!

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask you where exactly in Japan your family lives. Ehe, it somehow completely slipped my mind, with all the excitement and the comics and the cartoons and stuff...

I hope you get to go!! I mean, we should really get around to meeting each other face to face, y'know? And there's lots of fun stuff to do at Altamira!!

This whole YEAR is going to be awesome!!!!

Ah, I forgot too!!! Knowing where to go would probably help a lot in coming here. I'm live in Sendai, in the Miyagi prefecture! Where do you live??? I just realized, I only really know you don't live in Japan! I guess I assumed you were in England since that where Hogwarts is but there seem to be people from all over the place at school!!!
HOw did you want to get here too?? Are you any good with the floo system?? OR do you like Muggle transportation better?? I'm horrible with the floo! I end up somewhere else half the time, and I always come our covered in soot!

Yeah the amusement park sounds GREAT!!! I've never really been to one of them before. Guess my family's just a bit to serious to consider going. But it's a special thing for Hogwarts Students, and if Taka take me then it should definitely be OK to go!!!!

Oh, okay, I'll have to tell my parents then. Sendai, Miyagi prefecture.
Yeah, I live with my family in England. In Stockport, which is near Manchester... Uh... kinda sorta really far north from London. You know where London is, right? But yeah, there are people from all over attending at Hogwarts! You get to meet a lot of really interesting people.

I was thinking of using the floo system. But I've never taken it as far as Japan... Will that still work? Haha, I know what you mean! I used to be really bad with it, but after a few years of using it to get to Diagon Alley for school stuff, you learn. But I still come out looking like a shadow version of myself, all covered in soot!

I hope you get to go!! And since your brother's so cool, he's just gotta let you! Right??

*blink blinks* ...Oh, you're Satoshi's brother!! Hi!! Um... would it be really bad of me to ask for a little of both??

*nods* I'm Mori.

Can you focus in the morning?

[[Mori doesn't want to do the two styles back to back... and not at night, so it'll probably be a morning/evening (giving the kids plenty of goof off time between) split if Sora can deal with the morning classes]]

*considers this* Um... I think so. I can try...?

((if Sora really forces himself, which I'm sure he will when it comes to this training, he is capable of many things :D))
