[The feed sounds silent but if you listen closely, you can hear Roxas humming to himself. After a few minutes he breaks out into a quiet song.]

[Oh Roxas. Axel's kinda wide-eyed staring at his communicator for a moment.

A second later he realizes he's doing so and clears his throat, opens his mouth to speak, but closes it once more.]

[Then switches off the video.]

[Annnnnnnd he's back for a second time, but this time just his voice. No need in letting his best friend seeing him so surprised.]

Well, well, well. Roxas. You've got quite a voice there.

[He's grinning now that his face can't be seen, but when he speaks, it's evident that he's amused. Axel gives a little clap, before continuing,]

Going to put on a show soon? [There's a chuckle as he teases.]

Haha, very funny. [Can you hear the glare in his voice, Axel?]

I didn't even know this thing was recording anyways.

[Yes he can, but guess who's going to ignore it Roxas? =D]

So, [He shrugs though it can't be seen.] gonna put on a show? Didn't answer my question, y'know.

[A pause, as he now realizes he ignored everything Roxas said.] And it's recorded and shown. Can't do much about it now. [Useless hand gesture goes here.]

[Siiiiiiiigh] Nah, not really feeling it. I was only remembering the song Jiminy used to sing to Sora anyways.

Honestly, I think you should, Roxas. [He laughs.]

...Jiminy, Jiminy, [He repeats the name, trying to place it to whomever it belonged to. It's not like him to forget a name so he puzzled for a moment before it becomes clear to him.] Oh? The cricket sings?

I'd have to learn more songs then. [Sounds VERY reluctant.]

Yeah. I think it's probably a song he sang to Pinocchio.

Who knows what you could get from doing a performance? Beats being bored. [A pause.]
Well, I don't know. Never had a mission for his world.

[He mutters his next sentence.] Guess it makes sense to sing it to a puppet.

[Axel clears his throat.] Plan on wishing upon a star, buddy?

Maybe...This lantern looks kind of like a star- that's how I remembered the song.

Hey now, I didn't say I would be singing. [He almost snorts but stops himself.] Ha. Ha. What makes you think I can't?

[He pauses.] Not saying that I will.

Hey wait... Perhaps I will. [A chuckle, before he's quiet for a long moment. Realizing it, he starts to speak again.]

Wishing on a star seems kinda silly.
...What lantern? [He's not going to admit that he's curious about it all.]

"I'll believe it when I see it", right? [And he really can't imagine Axel singing, so he's quite doubtful.]

Yeah...I can see Sora doing it though. [A humorless laugh because that obviously means he would too.]

The lantern in my room- it looks kinda like a star...But it also looks like one of those switches in Hollow Bastion for the platforms.

Nah, you mean hear it. [He really doesn't want to sing but now he needs to prove that he can.]

You know. [Axel stops and its his turn to laugh. He doesn't say anymore on the subject.]

Oh, I forgot about the layout of your room. [There's a slight twitch from Axel at the mention of "Hollow Bastion" and he's thankful that their conversation isn't video. Being bored has given him a lot of time to think.] That's kinda a weird comparison, though I guess it makes sense. It does look like the switches.

You know what I meant! [A playful chuckle and he probably would've pretended to punch him in the shoulder if Axel was there.]

Still haven't figured out why our room is different from everyone else's... [There's a smirk in his voice.] But, don't plan on memorizing it, Axel. That'd be pretty creepy.

Yeah, but you see, it's fun to tease. [He's laughs himself. If Roxas is listening hard enough, he can hear Axel's boots crunching on something as he begins to walk.

I dunno either. Guess you both are just special. [He's grinning and then there's the sound of him opening a portal, though he's hoping it's faint.]

Memorizing- [He stops, a chuckle escaping.] C'mon, what's wrong with me memorizing it? [He didn't say he had, but he very well could.]

Knowing your surroundings is one of the rules of being part of the Organization, right? Recon and all. [There's the sound of the portal closing and more clacking of boots.]

Oh great, just another reason my life can't be normal.

Like I said, it'd be creepy. And we're not in the Organization anymore. You know that. [Pauses as he listens to the feed.]

Wait...what are you doing?

Nothing wrong with it not being normal.

Huh.
I know we're not, but it doesn't mean we should disregard everything we learned, right? Which means as long as we're here, we should at least do recon on the place.

[He stops walking when he hears the question.]

Returning to my room. Was bored, so I went out. [He taps on his doorknob, and turns it but doesn't open it.] You're in yours, right?
