i'm sure most have had days of being, well, optimistic ... there are days of late i've been sent up by my optimism only to have the following days delve new depths ... i have to constantly remind me 'it don't mean nothin' and hang onto the old maxim, 'be a pessimist in public, an optimist in private. this way you get to tell everyone "i told you so
