Storyteller was my go to dinner place for years. But when they took my favorite entree and dessert the menu I started expanding my on property options. But the Blue Bayou is still the most awesome.

The Blue Bayou is THE place I will go back to, though I loved the Storyteller. What was your favorite entree and dessert?

Entree - Pizza. Yeah, I know, but the ingredients were really tasty.

Dessert - Strawberry Ice Cream cake. Made with a dense flower free chocolate cake with about four or five inches of good strawberry ice cream on top. Then drizzled with fresh berry sauce. Very refreshing after a long hot day in the park.

Regarding Splash Mountain: there are VAST differences between DL & WDW. Different track layout (different boat system entirely, built by a different company due to major headaches on the first one at DL), different score, different scenes.

Also remember, most of the figures in the DL version were recycled from America Sings -- but at WDW, they're all purpose-built -- so they didn't have to shoehorn a story around them as much. There's a really great "hopping" Brer Rabbit figure that isn't in the DL one.

...though there have been times when the WDW Hopping Br'er Rabbit is in B-mode from what I've witnessed...

Isn't "B" mode just not working?

I've seen the term used for both "not working" or "limited action" for audio animatronics. Another example would be the Yeti on EE at AK. It's been in B-Mode for quite a while now doing just a limited "back & forth" motion which riders usually only get a glimpse of since the ride vehicle passes by really fast.

“Dave got us on the Lilly Belle,”

Shut. Up. *flails*

Did I ever tell you my grandpa's voice used to be on the old "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" ride? He says "Aye Aye, captain!" :D

It's actually not hard to get a ride on the Lily Belle. You literally just have to go up and ask the conductors in the station.

But, they only do it a few times a day, and they only allow about 8-10 people each time. So you have to ask early in the day.
