I'm getting really tired of seeing all these ads for a flatter stomach in just X weeks with the word OBEY in big type.

About half the time, the before and after pics look equally good and the other half of the time, the before pics look FAR BETTER than the after pics.

And how overtly misogynistic can you get, anyway. OBEY? Shove it, marketing

I have to admit that those ads always give me the giggles because it makes me think of D/s.

I get similar ones with a male stomach. I find them both annoying and offensive as well.
I do however have brief moment of "If I was still in the forces I would have a tight 6-pack like that."
Which in the end serves to reinforce my joy that I am a civilian only more!

Yeah, those ads really annoy me ... not in the least because I usually think the subjects (male or female) are quite lovely in the before picture.
