Wow, I'm sorry there was so much sucking going on. :( (This post basically goes over all the reasons that the only camping I'm willing to do is drive-up-to-your-campsite camping late in the season. I am NOT a biting-bug person. So I really feel for you.)

Going to N's parents sounds like camping to me! A lake and all that right there? :) Sounds awesome.

Sounds like you had a nice time at N's parent's place though. It sounds like it has almost all the features you need anyways! :)

Yarg, that sounds awful.

When we went to Boreal we learned about mosquito jackets. I think they even make them in smallest sizes.

You can't eat in them but the people who had them seemed a heck of a lot happier than those who didnt....
