we're nearly foodless, as we haven't been able to go grocery shopping in too long. Ironically, we have enough fixings to make a lovely steak dinner with baked potatoes and a multiple vegetable salad. I should take the steak out of the freezer. [done

You also may have hairline cracked the head of your humerus, your clavicle or your scapula when you fell, something that might not have proven all that agonizing at the time but which will interfere a good deal with any future functioning of the joint. The only way to know is an xray. I know, i know, you're waiting for your OHIP card. Just add these onto your list of health care issues for now.

I'm scared of tofu too (the texture is just really unappealing), but I'm in love with Silk Very Vanilla (it tastes like a milkshake!), Sea Salt Soy Crisps (crunchy and salty and so yummy + protein!), So Delicious Chocolate Velvet ice cream (*drooool*), and I haven't tried it, but maybe getting some silken tofu and making smoothies with it. Also I learned in my plant bio class that a peanut butter sandwich with whole wheat bread actually give you protein (the amino acids in the pb and bread create a complete protein), but I just remembered that you try to stay away from gluten. :/
