FIC: L.A. Story (CW RPS, Jared/Jensen)

Dec 26, 2007 21:36

Title: L.A. Story
Pairing: Jared/Jensen
Rating: NC-17
Wordcount: 4144
Summary: Jensen's kind of clueless
Notes: My spn_holidays story, written for walkawayslowly, who requested J2, unrequited love turning requited. Thanks to prillalar for beta and cheerleading :).

For a second he thinks maybe Danneel'll come up and say she was just being a bitch and of course she didn't break up with him, not really, and Jensen can't believe how pathetic he is. Danneel would never make bacon. )

I'm really happy their guy-ness came through, and also the underlying emotions. There's so much that doesn't get said that I'm glad it comes through regardless. And thanks for your comments on the writing style! I'm glad that worked.

Yay for hotness!

And how Jared bringing his dogs is the real Jared moving in.

Yes, totally--I'm so glad this came through :).

Oh, this is fabulous. I love Jensen all twisted up and denial-y, and the extreme hotness, and Jared saying his show sucked, and Jensen getting a comedy that's actually pretty funny. It feels like L.A. life for the semi-successful, including just the right amounts of domesticity. Well done!

Oh, I'm glad it had that L.A. feel, because I was trying to capture some of that as well. And that the Jensen characterization worked, because he's probably a little more neurotic here than I really see him, but I wanted to play with that. Thanks for your comments!

Oh good, I'm glad you liked it. I was a little worried and not sure it was what you were looking for, but, anyway. I'm glad :).

This is absolutely fabulous! I love love how subtle the boy's relationship is here, how comfortable and familiar and the real sense of loss and blinders Jensen has - until. Plus, you know, HOT. Hot hot hot.

Thank you so much! I'm really happy their relationship came through in that way, because I think there must be so many layers there that it would be difficult for them to dig through and find the right one. And yay that it was hot!
