Fic: Prodigal Son (Giant Killing; Tatsumi/Murakoshi)

Here's the story I wrote for prillalar for our second annual sekrit story exchange - I've been wanting to write for this fandom FOREVER. It has three of my favorite things: soccer, pretty boys, and angsty backstory. Did I mention soccer? Feel free to ask me "What the hell is Giant Killing?" and I will try to pimp you into it!

Loved the musty jacket! I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the pairing, but it makes sense as you've presented it. (Puts Tatsumi's treatment of his popsicle as they talk before their current-timeline Osaka match in a whole new light!)

Oh, nice fic! I did love the angst and the fact that they seemed so compatible here. Plus it was freaking hot! Really, I wish there were more Giant Killing fics.

Thank you! The best part about writing this was getting to rewatch a lot of the series :). I feel like I could write the two of them over and over and still not scratch the surface of everything going on between them.

I've only just discovered Giant Killing recently and have been absolutely *desperate* for Tatsumi/Murakoshi, for exactly the reason you mention in another comment... that sense of shared history and old wounds.

I'm so *thrilled* to find something to scratch that itch! :) This is so awesome. I love how Tatsumi-in-the-past is still the same "say something cryptic and expect people to keep up" PITA as the present, with his non-explicit invitation to his room. Ha!

Yay for Tatsumi/Murakoshi! I'm surprised it's not a popular pairing, honestly. And that is a spot-on description of Tatsumi *g*. He really is a PITA.
