And you a lawyer! I would be interested in your perspective as both a lawyer and a blind person. As a matter of fact, I think you should write an essay about your ideas regarding this subject. I would also be very interested in your thoughts re the Librarian of Congress reaffirming his opinioin that "jailbreaking" DRM is legal for accessibility. If you wrote essays on either of these topics, I would definitely link to them.
I originally got a journal so that I could practice my writing. I was also a student at the time --major in English lit, minor in communication studies-- so I had lots of opportunities to write because of that, also. Writing is like any other art or science--the more you do it, the better at it you will become. Malcolm Gladwell has written about whether people are born with a talent for doing what they later become expert at, or whether they have to practice, and the answer is: both. Even talented people have to practice, and the people who make it look easy tend to practice more than the others
