On the Road in Turkey

First impressions of Istanbul:

Upscale hotel, around the corner from a busy street, lots of taxis, if you don't walk fast enough you are in the way. Almost impossible to cross the street. Golden arches, KFC, people talking English with an accent. I think I'm in New York! Sort of like Times Square without the neon.
