Scifi is running a marathon of the original Green Hornet TV series. Watching it, I am inexplicably overcome with love for the show and the characters, and it makes me want to see the movie quite badly. I think it must be the car.
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I did watch this Green Hornet special that Mythbusters did a few weeks ago and during the episode, they showed a few clips from the movie. Looks pretty good for a remake of a classic TV series.
Looks amazingly good. I just hope I'm not jazzed to the nines and gearing up only to be disappointed when I spend a ridiculous amount of money to see it opening day.
Of course, the series itself is surprisingly awesome. and in searching for copies to watch, I found a batman-series/hornet crossover which is both hilarious and appalling; and I can't help but think, as I watch it, that to me Robin always seems to look as though he's freezing cold.
