You know that feeling, when all you really want to do is sit back and listen to some soulful jazz? That's what I call my New York State of Mind. In recognition of the song that is usually playing when I'm in that mood, Billy Joel's New York State of Mind. It's a wonderful song, and it seems to make all my cares slip to the back of my mind.

Well, I guess it's called leap of faith for a reason, eh? I suspect there's certain incalculable levels of trust involved in lettin' go of that healthy cynicism. You may find it as fun as it is freeing, ya never know!
