It never ceases to amaze me how comfortable we are with that massive money pit on our budget. I'm not even deeply anti-military, just pro-not-funneling-billions-down-a-rathole.

The follow up graph I'd like to see is where that money goes. How much goes to the individuals who make up the military versus how much goes to Raytheon, Halliburton, etc.
