You definitely surprised me. I thought Buffy was going to rescue him at the end. I hope you don't have plan for Buffy to go bad on the longer story. I'm a sucker for happy stories.

Well, I'm not too sure about the happy ending in the longer fic (with the whole Purge thing and all going on), but no plans on Buffy going evil. That's reserved for another character ;) Thanks for the comment!

Dude! You totally had me fooled. I was ready for Buffy to break down the door at the last second and rescue Obi-Wan, but she is the bad guy. Clearly the AU tag is sneakier than it looks. Nifty.
