So I'm writing to you from the comfert of my own deck. It's beautiful outside and I could think of no better place to take me and my laptop (and Franny who's out here too digging around in the grass) to relax and write about the day. And so

Congratulations on Pope Benny! You know, he's a German, which probably means he'll be pretty rigid, but, on the bright side, he's 78 years old, so if he turns out to be somebody you don't like, he won't last too terribly long anyway. Lol that's terrible to say, but seriously, that should dull your concerns just a bit. Congratulations just the same!

I heard from my counsellor the other day. They're still unsure if they're going to have the albany program (the woman in charge of the program told my counsellor to hang on to the referrals that they have to send out to get kids into the program). They're thinking of housing us at SUNY Albany and transporting us to Hudson Valley Community College for classes/workshops/Etc., but everything's still up in the air. This is all I know currently.

Jeez, that should be fun. My conselor is so out of the loop on this stuff, plus she takes about five years to call me back. Well all I can say is this thing (if it happens) better be worth it.
And at least if they house us at Albany we'll still get to be roommates.

Is this one of these college prep courses for seniors? Curious because I think I went through one of those in Maryland when I was a senior many years ago.

Yeah it is. They basically send you up to SUNY Albany and teach you ... college stuff I guess? Not sure, but I heard it was a good program.
