I watch OTW's blog, but am uncertain whether joining the beta Archive means I would be committing to a particular level of use? I'm so busy right now...but so intrigued that it's finally here!

I don't think so, but yeah, I can understand why you would want to put off joining until you aren't so busy.

Darn, I was reading up on it and didn't reply quick enough. Just as well, though. I've been hearing about it off and on for awhile, and would love a chance to consolidate my stuff under better organization, but I don't really have the time to mess with it until after my brother leaves for his new base.

[laughs] That's because I follow the OTW, so I've been waiting for them to go to open beta for over six months. I was going to add my name to the queue tommorrow morning, but I wasn't holding my breath - so when I saw your post, I was in here like a shot!

I got a surprise email last night inviting me to jump the queue for open beta (due to the fact that I was a financial member of the OTW in their first year, even though I had let my membership lapse). So I joined the archive last night, and this morning I had one invite code!
