Thought For The Day
People keep on talking about "King of Kings and Lord of Lords", and forget that God is also "Artist of Artists". When there was nothing, he dared to imagine EVERYTHING.
We are made in the image of God, which means we are also creators.

When I was at school my science teacher said there's no way she'd have thought of tilting the earth's axis to produce seasons, or make water so that it would expand on freezing so that ice could float.

And there's artistry in that too, if one is of the mind to think of mathematics as "elegant". Which I am.
And water is pretty amazing stuff, yeah. Imagine a solid floating on a liquid! Like, God thought up solids ("hey, these things are not flowing, how cool") and then tweaked it ("Hey, I wonder how I could make it work so that a solid would still be solid, but would float on its own liquid? Wouldn't that be fun?")
