Flisties! I’m back! In Singapore, after a trip to Denver for Christmas, to see the family. Sadly, my brother didn’t manage to make it for the holiday (tied up at work, he had something like eight calls by 730 am Christmas morning, the lucky guy). But I did get to spend a bunch of time with my parents; lots of shooting with my dad and cards with my ( Read more... )

Wow - that's a lot of traveling! I'm glad you had a good Christmas.

I haven't seen a lot of movies this year, but like you, I really enjoyed Tangled. I had a big smile on my face at the end. Megamind was another (pleasant) surprise for me. Very clever. I think you'll like it. I enjoyed Toy Story 3 as well - but I saw it the first weekend and hadn't heard the hype. Sometimes the hype can ruin a movie for me.

LOL - about Gulliver's Travels - sounds horrible.

I'm so glad you had a good Christmas and got to see your family!!

I took the girls to see both Tangled and Toy Story 3, and we loved them. We also saw Deathly Hallows a couple of times and really enjoyed it. But my favorite movie of the year, by far, was Hot Tub Time Machine - stupid and predictable and crude but SOOOO funny!!!

w0w! Crap ton of movies there! I've only seen like...2 of those. :(( Sadly, one of them was Gulliver's Travels.

I didn't hate it as much as you, but it was pretty ridiculous.

Glad you had a good holiday season and are now back safe and sound with Patricia! Tell her hi for me! ♥

I hope you had a happy birthday! :)

I still want to see Tangled. I'm sure we'll get it on DVD. Red was fantastic. I had been really worried about it sucking since David said it was based on a comic book and the last "comic book to movie" film we saw was The Spirit and it was awful.

The worst movie I've ever seen ever was "Excess Baggage" with Benicio del Toro and Alicia Silverstone. I was so pissed off that my cousin talked us into seeing that crappy movie. LOL!
