This was beautiful!

I love how you really touched on the differences between the Gallaghers and Milkoviches, and I also really love how you explored the scenario of Ian taking over the care of the family once Fiona's gone.

The interaction between Ian and Mickey here was great! And I do think that their relationship is very much about the things that go unsaid, so this, I thought, was very in character!

the way you wrote ian and mickey's relationship, and everything with carl, and everything about fionna leaving.. i feel like it would all go down exactly like that and you wrote it beautifully and it was perfect and i'm babbling so i'll stop now but <33333333333!

Why are Ian/Mickey fics the best? I loved this. I love the idea of Mickey coming over to the Gallagher's one day and just never leaving.

I love that everything about the Gallagers is alarming to Mickey. Like where his house is all silence and unsaid words, The Gallager house is different. Silent and all, with nothing really said, but they fill in the blanks for each other, they don't have to do it themselves. Also, I love that Mickey sorta just hangs around like an unwanted guest. Just integrated into the household after he nearly killed Carl. lmao.

And favorite line:
There was love here. These broken, fragile people were bleeding out so profusely, Mickey could feel it gelling under his foot, but there was so much love radiating out from them. And that love was so bright, all he could do was blink and look away; maybe shield his eyes, because it hurt, and he wasn’t even a part of it.
