Like Kristene Sutherland I much regretted we never got to see anything of her life as a working; successful small businesswoman, in combination with being a single mom.

If you check the tag, there should be a few other fics listed.

I like to think that many of the absences Joyce had from the show were when she enjoyed a freer social life; one of them being a meeting with Constable Benton Fraser (Due South) in Chicago.

There may be potential there actually.

Always loved Joyce and thought her character very under used.

Very much agree; as I say above Kristene Sutherland would have liked to see more of Joyce at the gallery.
