This is the third in a ten part, all drabbles, pre-series BtVS story; this one covers the greater part of the war. Wrote all ten in a short few hours on sunday afternoon, after I got tired of scrolling through my external hard-drive.
Thinking maybe I should run out of internet bandwidth more often...

I'm getting properly intrigued now. Very clever use of drabbles - giving us tiny morsels at a time...

Ok, so the kittehs have had their second treat of the day. Gourmet cat food this AM, and now, after they started stirring, a new flavour of cat treats.

If only the electric water bowl would arrive!

Anyway, to a proper response. At this point I knew how long the story needed to be, but I was still figuring out how to get there in the proper time. My head was telling me what the ending was, but I was still translating that into a story that told the reader in the same time values that it was telling me.

There was a huge period of time to cover while dropping clues and giving as little away as possible.

Even, at the time I wrote this one, myself.
