Been a bit of a stretch without anything new; no excuses, but if I'm honest I have really not felt like it. Posting anyway; I have been writing though; reading and listening to music and my muse.

Hope to be a bit busier posting now I'm feeling a bit better.

Interesting insight into a post chosen Faith. I've always thought underneath that rebellious exterior were some quite conventional yearnings.

I'm exploring those leanings with my Faith/Tara fics as well; I think Faith blocked them out because she believed they were fairy tales and/or she believed she didn't deserve them; or even need them.

Doesn't mean they weren't there though. If I had to pinpoint a moment in the series when they got through her armour I'd go a lot further back than the meeting of Robin Wood, or the way Angel and refused to turn away from her.

I think it was when she killed the deputy mayor and realised, or believed, she'd destroyed any chance at a future she'd forgotten how to believe in.

Lovely. Like seeing Faith grow through the years and Xander seems to be the right person for her.

Seriously though; thanks. My main pairing for Faith is obviously Tara, but I wanted to explore another perspective for her character; also always wanted to write a Faith/Xander fic and explore what might have happened had Cordelia had been able to forgive Xander the way he's forgiven Faith here.

It's kind of humbling to find oneself on a list like this. Not written much lately; found myself having to re-acquaint myself with the story.
