  Spent quite some time reconfiguring this one; lost two whole, much loved, lines because they spoiled the whole line of the dress i was trying to make. Still it feels much better now. We are right back to just after Joyce's funeral, and Dawn's 'adventure' with Spike afterwards.

Nice resolution. And not surprising that she lashed out - it's something that only makes her more human.

I think a lot of people forget that Dawn was dealing with so much on top of her Mom dying; not least it seems likely some of her behaviour before that came from the monks having 'not quite right' ideas of what american teenagers were really like.

She is probably also, in the context of the 'verse this is set in, unconciously dealing with feelings for someone else she's not quite aware of yet.
