No words mssing. In my headcanon; mentioned in those four wedding fics I wrote for deird1, Lisa Mom died when she was two, so her pain is both about having no memories of her Mom; Dawn being in such a dark place that she was, with no intention of being mean, hurtful to Lisa at Joyce's funeral, but also because Dawn reacted badly to however Lisa reacted to the news she was The Key.
I haven't written that scene yet, but those words of Dawn's are the last words of hers Lisa heard; all she is thinking about here.
