SAI?

I've heard SO many things about it, I'm wondering this.... WHAT exactly is it and what makes it so great? XD

Cuz I'm looking into using other programmes, to see which ones I like, and I've seen a lot of people praising it, which is making me think.... but then there's the cost of it and the like.

Sooooo someone explain? :D

It's the only thing I can stand using anymore :U It's extremely responsive to the tablet, I dropped photoshop all together when I found SAI. There's a 31 day trial on their site ( http://sai.detstwo.com/sai/ English version ). It takes a little bit to get used to the layout and the tools, at least it did for me. But.. I couldn't help but buy it and honestly $55 bucks isn't all that bad compared to other programs, eh? XD

The great thing about SAI is that it lets you draw in vector - meaning you can draw a line and then manipulate the points. It's like the line tool in Flash or Illustrator, but built to work rather beautifully with a tablet.

It also allows for very easy canvas rotation and mirroring.
