やった！ (and summary of Japanese progress)
Wow...after wondering why it has been an unexpectedly long break between posts on this particular topic, I realised I just hadn't tagged anything properly for about a year...
I don't feel like writing a long post, so list it is...
Tentative plans for next year
Note 1: basic summary of JLPT levels can be found here.
Note 2: Kanji Kentei Levels here. A comparison I've heard is that JLPT 1 and Kanken 5 are of around the same difficulty in terms of Kanji...which, I think, is probably a bit of a stretch. Kanken 3/4 would probably be a more accurate measure, but even then, it's not enough to pass JLPT 1!
Note 3: J-Test levels here. My C-grade reflects the level of someone able to do simple tasks on a business trip to Japan, which I felt was accurate. I'm hopefully at pre-B level now...won't say what I'm aiming for though...
