Well said *points at subject title*! Believe it or not, some malaysians ignore you if you talk to them in english and at some point refuse to assist if you need help. It's not that they can't speak, they just don't want to. I have a feeling that they think english-speaking people are snobs. Their mentality is "when you're in malaysia, speak malay". To be honest, BM is practically useless anyway overseas. But that doesn't stop the government from switching the subjects from BM to english and back to BM in 2010 just because some morons can't pass their exams in english. In a nut shell, malaysian politicians are total idiots.
