I just fell. Yes. I'm an idiot. I was getting up from my desk to head back to the printer to grab a few things and I tripped on the cords to my computer as well as my pant leg and fell spectacularly to the floor, knees first. I'm in a lot of pain and wish I could go home. Not a chance. No hours left. At least not any that I want to take for ( Read more... )

I feel like such an idiot. It's not as if the cords haven't been there for months and I've been wearing the pants for about the same amount of time (and no, not continuously, eeeww lol).

LOL! As long as I made you smile...:)
I think there is a relationship between how long computer cords are on the floor and how much you trip on them...the longer they are there the more you trip on them! I know because I've had my comp in the same spot since I moved and a couple of days ago tripped on the cords that have been on the same spot for months!

Did you break skin anywhere? I fell in the drive the other day and really ripped up my knee, go make sure you aren't bleeding.

*hug*

I'm sorry if my post brought you down.

I broke skin but thankfully, no blood.

And um, I received a present just now in the mail at my office. Hmmm...

From Indianapolis no less. ;)

oh nooo, make sure you report that, cause i once had a friend that fell at work on her knee, she went home the next day it was very swollen, she had to get worker's compensation, but she had to go through alot because she didn't report it right away and they wanted proof that she did fall at work.
