Compared to the first one, it had some definite pacing problems, but every fight scene was a thing of pure beauty, I still want JARVIS so hard, Nick Fury > everyone, this is why I love Happy Hogan, Rhodey was awesome, alcoholic!Tony was as cringe-inducing as he should be, AFTER THE CREDITS YES, etc, etc, so it all evened out to a damned fun movie ( Read more... )

I agree with everything you have said. In addition (trying to avoid spoilers here):

- That bit on the roof? That better be a setup for tension and Nothing Else. Damnit.

- SCIENCE!

- All blood poisoning should make cool angly glyphs all over your body instead of following your actual blood vessels.

- The dialogue was excellent. They did a wonderful job of keeping all the good bits from the first movie.

- What. Seriously? I can't imagine a marvel character that will translate more poorly into a live-action movie.

Totally worth seeing. Also, Lex is absolutely the right person to go see this movie with.

- Yeah, that bit on the roof kinda pissed me off, too. Even in the comics, that particular thing just makes me uncomfortable. It just seems wrong somehow.

- Science is delicious.

- I will take palladium poisoning if it looks that cool.

- You haven't been looking at the movie news for it? It's looking pretty epic so far.
