Hospitals make Jasper nervous. For all the obvious reasons. But, with a held breath - at least he knows what to expect - and the careful dodging of patients, he finds his way to the right door and softly raps on it. If Alice has helped time this right, Bella's parents are away for dinner, Bella is conked out, yet again, on her medications, and Edward -

Jasper pushes open the door, not waiting for a response, and shuts it behind him with barely the squeak of a whisper following.

"Hey."
