Thanks, man. I never can tell, and I am always biting nails when I hit "post"! Eeek!

Heh, that was cute. And Thomas Edison WAS kind of a douche.

Haha, if you read The Oatmeal, there is a whole thing about how he was horrible to Tesla, and it cracked me up. I'm glad you liked this!

“Your boy Edison don't understand charades, Joey.”
And that's the part where I started making quiet (and probably disturbing) chuckle-snorts.

“I am an anachronism.”
And that's the point where it exploded out in a very unflattered sort of sound only very generously described as a laugh.

You are excellent and I love you a lot. Thank you for entertaining me! Since, y'know, that was clearly your first and only priority when writing this. :D

It's so much harder to write humor! I never know if I am writing a total train wreck or not, and I always assume it is going to be a disaster. Arrrgh! I'm so glad you liked it. You are such a shameless flatterer, you! *squishes you into tiny hug-sized pieces*

And I am thinking on that other question you posed me. Give my poor sluggish brain a minute to percolate. *needs moar coffee*

Well, you did a great job of it, potential train wreck or no. And no hurry on the other, really; it's just a vague sort of thought that maybe. (Also, I managed to find last night a series I lost years ago. :D Somewhat preoccupied reading that now anyway!)

Oh, thank you! :D

And I am sorry to hear you've been sick! I disappeared from things for a bit, and I lost track. I would have sent you a note! But I am glad to hear that you are better now? I hope you are, anyway. Your icon seems dubious!

Hahaha oh, this was wonderful. Edison, the time-machine, his inexplicable love for very fancy meals...and all tied up in the anachronism phrase.
