Oh dear. Oh DEAR!!! I shall feel dreadfully guilty now when I do the vegs... I do Onion LOTS and potato... Poor young carrot and oooh snotty Parsnip we have lots of him and he ISN'T as good this year as he was last year!! SO! and Poor Rutabaga...duh! That about says it about swedes! Rutabaga swedes not the Nationals ( ... )

*giggles* I hope this bit of fluff was right up your alley. I know you like me to be a bit lighthearted at times, and I thought this fit the bill.

And yes you most certainly DID win! It was a fair-and-square tie, and most well-deserved! I was jumping for joy on your behalf!

There is something wrong with you ... and I love you for it! This totally made me laugh out loud. I knew there was a reason I don't like many vegetables and apparently this is it. I must have known somehow that they had feelings, too. Poor proud Yam has no clue. But I have to say that the dropped beet was my favorite, LOL. You've made my night!

Aw, so cute! And imaginative! You really do know how to write about anything and everything, don't you? You're easily one of the most adaptable writers I've ever encountered -- I mean, writing from the POV of veggies? That's not something you see every day. :)
