Title: Lifting the Veil Author: Keppiehed Rating: PG Warnings: none Word Count: 574 Prompt: “Transcendent” A/N: Written for week #2 at Brigits_flame, All Star's contest.
EEEK! This is not the kind of story that I prefer, but your writing is so damn intriguing that you could write about head lice infested spiders eating Chinese food (or any other things I do not love) and I would be hanging on your every word
( ... )
Aw, you! You are making me blush! I always think of you when I write these dreamy things without much plot, and I think "ah, she isn't going to like this one!" *laughs* and then you go and flatter me and blow my head up with compliments. And I have to take a moment to disagree; you could very much write the same thing if you wanted, you just have never given it a try. So there!
And I think you are the only one who liked it. I was tied for last in the main poll, and I am currently in last place in the run-off to see who goes home this week. But you know, I like to give new things a shot, to take a chance. Even if I go home, I won't be sorry I did it. And in the end, I got you to like it even if it isn't your style, so I figure it doesn't get much better than that for a writer. Thanks for cheering me up! *hugs*
