The comic book section at my store makes me cry a bit. We just had a maaaassive theft (they stole Sandman! *flail*) and it makes me so paranoid now. And aww, you could always order it if you really can't find it. I have to read it before the movie comes out too, since it looked awesome.

I don't get the money thing either. Aren't you just going to spend it anyway? I mean, I get people not wanting it if it's completely falling apart, but really ...

O_O! Nuuuu theft of Sandman! EV0L. well. Theft in general is ev0l but still. Couldn't they take something crappier? Like... Superman or something? N/O to people who love Superman *_* ANYWAYS... yeah, I may break down and order it, but I'm gunna poke around a bit first to see if I can just dig up a copy.

Exactly! Even if it's completely falling apart, that's what tape is for IMO. And they'd just be getting rid of it anyways. Blech.

My friend wanted to check out Watchmen before the film, too, so I went with her to our comic book store but they were also sold out. ;_; And I've never ever EVER seen that store without a requisite copy of Watchmen on their shelves! It was eerie, man.

Maybe everyone is off getting it because the hype for the movie is starting.

That must be it, but I thought that most people (having not already read Watchmen, I mean) were still a bit in the dark about Watchmen since the trailer -just- came out. But I must be mistaken =/
