Random: I just read that the Canadian govt is matching all donations from its citizens.

I don't live there but hell yeah Canada!

I still absolutely love the idea of this entire effort. A lot of times I can be disparaging about the merits of fandom because of the random trolling/wank/what-have-you, but this comm is single-handedly making me eat some of those words AND gain more faith in humanity in general.

Thanks so much for bidding on me, by the way! I would've loved to have done the same for you, only it would seem that you already had a couple of very determined bidders who quickly upped the price beyond my range. :-P

It's reasons like these that I want to work in TV. Just... yeah, fandom can be royally fucked, but when it matters, it can come together and be so amazing. *_*
