Of summer meeting and winter farewel

It's been a while since my last entry. Real live has been.... normal. I can't say I've been busy cause I haven't. (>_<) So what have I been doing, watching anime most of the time. (^.^); Thanks to another recommendation from rbjg (Thank you, you're awesome!), I found Natsume Yuujinchou.

For me Natsume Yuujinchou is one of the things that bring a smile ( Read more... )

Yay, glad you like Natsume Yuujinchou!! ^o^ I'm downloading the 3rd episode of Zoku as I type this. xD I have to agree that it was the second episode with Gen that really got me into the season. I think it might have been because most of the promotional hype for the new season was centered around the Kuro-Nyanko sensei, so it didn't really live up to expectations when it was dealt with so abruptly. Hmmm.

I had a moment of otaku-excitement when I identified Yocchin's voice from the preview at the end of the first episode. >.< Haha.

I still haven't really got used to the new OP and EDs. Natsu Yuuzora was just so beautiful and fit the ED sequence so painfully well.

Yea, the Kuro-nyanko and the title "Stolen Book of Friend" was really misleading. I got my hopes up and everything... XD

I actually didn't notice Yocchin until I watched the episode. Was completely oblivious during the preview. *ashamed* LOL! But I was fully in otaku-mode as well when I noticed.
Quote: "OMG, it's him! Can't believe I didn't notice before! Yocchin!!!!" Thankfully nobody was home at the time.

Even though the new ending has really grown on me, I don't think any ending song will be able to replace Natsu Yuuzora. It's such a natsume song. It was perfect.

This is ridiculus. I really do love the anime now. I'm still waiting for ainex-sub avi file of episode 3. I've only watched it raw ^_^; Aaaah, can't wait, so much fan-service! XD

Yeah, I was wondering if the series would start taking on a solid plot and move away from the episodic/slice of life style, but apparently not. Haha. The manga still seems to be episodic as well, so ( ... )

Hmm, after all of this episodes and the manga. I don't think it will deviate from it's slice of life genre. I was discussing the possible ending of Natsume in aarin. It got me all exited. XD ( ... )

Hmm, I find that quite a lot of manga go from slice of life to having a more sustained plot after a while. Like Ouran, which took about 8 volumes or so to develop a more continuous storyline. Or others that move away from an arc structure to a bigger plot, like perhaps Naruto and Fruits Basket. I really hope Natsume Yuujinchou develops a wider plot too! xD I really want to know more about Reiko as well ( ... )

No no no no! Rambling essay is always welcome. It's really fun reading your comment! ^o^

That's true... Fruits basket did develop quite a plot. I don't read Naruto or Ouran so I can't compare with those two. It's been a while since I watched it but I think the Ouran anime doesn't have that distinct plot development though (I might be wrong... I need to rewatch it >_<). I was so sure that Natsume will develop a heavier plot in this second season up until I watched season 4... Aaa~h, I want more crying Natsume (Yes, I'm eeeeebil!!) XD XD ( ... )
