She's gone

She's gone.  My beloved nana passed away last night in her sleep, at the grand old age of 84.  At least I got to see her before she went.

*hug* I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm glad she lived a long life and passed away peacefully. :)

Thank you. I was actually wondering why i hadn't heard anything from you. She'd had a MASSIVE heart attack 3 weeks prior, and we'd been in Ohio the entire week before she died, leaving two days before she went. It's getting easier, mostly cuz she asked me to take one of her dogs home with me. She's a small scottish terrier named Janey, and she's SO cute. It's helped a lot, having a little piece of nana with me. We're going up to Ohio for the memorial celebration in May, so that'll be good.

I miss you, and Jenny. How are things in Boone? Are you still moving to Cary?? Update me! Love you both.

Yeah, I haven't been checking my friends page every day like I used to. It's been since at least this entry, possibly before.

I'm glad things are going better for you, though. That sounds like it was really scary and stressful... It's really good that you got to keep her dog. Pets are helpful in most aspects of life, especially grieving. I send lots of hugs!! :)

Things are going well for us up here. We'll be moving to Greenville at the end of July (I'm so nervous!!). I just applied to ECU as a transfer student and Jenny has already been accepted to Pitt community college so things are rolling slowly. I'm going to major in Animation and CGI (hopefully), but I need to take fundamental art classes to build a portfolio and learn the basics first. I'm so nervous about failing miserably at this I'm afraid to start. But I'm slowly getting over it.

Hopefully, we'll get to see you soon, if not, I'm sure we'll be able to visit when we move. Greenville's a lot closer than Boone!

lots of love
~Sparky
