The Hagar VDSL - Reboot
Welcome to the reboot of The Hagar VDSL challenge! After the great drive meltdown I've decided to start over, so let's get this party started!

So here we are again with our lovely founder: Bekah. Her LTW this time around: Become a Rock God. The first thing she does is look in the paper to see if her dream job is available. Sadly it is not. Luckily, she has some reserves left after decorating, so she'll survive for a day or two.
She moves on to more important things. Like making grilled cheese.
The neighbours come over to welcome Bekah into the neighbourhood. Amongst them: Aluminum by xie_belle .
Bekah asks him the most important question of all: "Do you like grilled cheese?"
Aluminum: "Nah, not really. I once had one, but a slap of cheese landed on my lip. It hurt pretty badly..."
Bekah: "Ouch, that sounds bad."
Aluminum: "Yeah, it's a good story for breaking the ice though." *winks*
An other neighbour showed up, too. Oliver by lil_pixiedevil . Maybe he likes grilled cheese better.
Bekah: "So, you like grilled cheese?"
Oliver: "Grilled cheese is awesome!"
Bekah: I know, right! I can't believe there are people out there who do not like grilled cheese! How do you not like something that tasty?"
Don't let her sweet smile fool you. Bekah is one fierce pillow-fighter.

But Oliver strikes back.
Aluminium joins in. He and Oliver seem to have some kind of friendship going on. I think it's the matching outfits. Stuff like that creates a bond. *nods importantly*
While they all sat down for grilled cheese, I was trying to figure out which one would make the best match for Bekah. I couldn't really decide.
But Bekah made her choice before I could (ohai ACR!)
New morning, new job hunt. But still no luck.
So, to pass some time, Bekah invited Aluminum over.
Bekah invites him to move in and he agrees.

Okay, Townie, that's just creepy.
They are really cute together. Bekah and Aluminum do this kind of stuff all the time.
And this kind of ... stuff. Also, YAY! baby jingles!
This amused me. Bekah dreams of grilled cheese :-D
It's time for the first challenge of this legacy:
Snow White & the Seven Dwarves: the highest earning sim in your house has gone garden ornament crazy! Spend all of their pay cheques for the week on gnomes and other garden specific decor.
Now Bekah doesn't have a job yet, but Aluminum does. He's a freelance web designer. He makes about $600 a day. That's going to be a lot of gnomes...
First day. It's already an invasion.
Aluminum does not approve of this needless decoration.

Aluminum: *pouts*
Unmellow Yellow (leenyland ) also liked the gnomes. She stood there looking at them for over an hour.
Aluminum tries his hand as cooking.
And burns it. (This is a pattern, you just wait and see.)
Bekah and Aluminum do a lot of cuddling.
Bekah: "Don't worry sweetie. I can cook good enough for the both of us."
And to prove she's not bragging, Bekah makes breakfast.
Aluminum has a eleven friends, so he spends a lot of his free time on the phone.

Alejandra's sample turned out to be a computer (which I sold, Bekah already has the Mister Humble one sitting in her inventory)
I've never had a pleasure sim before, they apparently roll some unusual wants. Like jumping on the couch.
And juggling bottles.
I had Bekah jump on the couch, too. Not a good idea when you're pregnant...
Bekah: "Man, that really hurt my neck!"
"And I don't think that left-over grilled cheese agrees with me."
Pop-up. I suck at these. Uhm.. Erroneous Info. (Yeah I miss-spelled Aluminum, but I'm too lazy to fix it. Just ignore it :) )
Crap.
Aluminum: *sigh*
Aww, cheer up. At least we don't have to buy more gnomes now.
Anabell (tehhilz ) walks by.
Anabell: Yay! Rain!

Lightning strikes a gnome. Aluminum rushes out to save it.
Aluminum: "I may not you them much, but I'm going to save you gnome!"
Bekah: "Uhm! Hello! I'm having my first pop. Pay attention!"
Bekah: "No! How did this happen?"
Aluminum: "Don't worry babe, I've got it under control."
Aluminum: "I'm awesome, right?"
Bekah in her pregnancy wear. I love this dress. It's so cute.
Aluminum frequently rolls this want. I always grant it, because it's cute :)
Aww. I could fill an entire update with pictures of Bekah and Aluminum doing this. It's almost annoying.. almost.
Bekah spends a lot of time practicing her fierce dance face.
Aluminum: "Looking great, Becks!"
This face reminded me of the "smizing" on AMNT. She's not quite there yet.
Aluminum joins in for some cute couple dancing.
After that, he gets back on the phone to keep up with his social life.

She's getting pretty big. I wonder how many babies she'll have...
They don't need a maid. Bekah spends a lot of time cleaning the house.

Aluminum also tries some fierce dance moves. He's taking this very seriously, make no mistake.
Aluminum tries to burn down the house again.
See, I told you there was a pattern.
Luckily, the fireman saves the day.
Aluminum: "Why does everything I try to cook burn?"
Maybe you should stick to salad?
Another pixel-trade walk-by. This time it's Riley McGee by quellasims
I don't know if that's such a great idea in your last trimester, Bekah.
Bekah: "That didn't feel so great..."
Stop! Baby Time! (okay, that was lame)
It's a boy. His name is Riley and he has Bekah's eyes and a random dark skintone.
Aluminum got another job in the Slacker career. (music still refuses to show up.) He lands a promotion on his first day.
He immediately rushes to the nursery to say hello to his new son.
Aluminum is a great dad. I never have to tell him to take care of Riley, he does it automatically.
Still no luck in Bekah's job hunt.
Bekah: "Time to eat, Riley. Open wide."
Riley: "O.o"
And I leave you with this family shot. Next update will have more failed cooking attempts (guess by who) and some supernatural things going on.
