Today has been pleasant. First the seaport and then the aquarium--with both being a nice attraction.

Afterward it was a stroll down Ocean beach and a visit to Gilbert Castle and Florence Griswold museum (neither I was able to go inside due to separate reasons)

Now I'm outside New Haven, debating a nightly tour or some much needed rest and pick it up ( Read more... )

Both Wadsworth and Mark Twain were closed. Kind of didn't have it in me to tour Harriet  Beecher after that.

But Hartford was still good. Nice 3 hour walking tour of the city. Good people overall. Now time for the next destination.

After too long back at hone, I'm finally on my road trip again. Currently in Canton town, Connecticut. I should be in Hartford on no time. I'll call it a night then and start my day early.

An all day tour of the Adirondack mountain. Amazing is all I have to share.

Pretty quiet day in comparison to yesterday. Visited two museums, wasn't able to visit the theater and now at a public library before I head out to my next destination.

Oh and I'm in Syracuse.

Amazing. Superb. Outstanding. What other words should I add to describe this day? A billion more but they aren't necessary.

First into Canada to visit Toront. Didn't stay too long bit it was long enough to get a morsel of future expectations. The sights and people where wonderful. Fairly amazed at the vast usage of American English. Helped with ( Read more... )

This has officially been my first whole week since I started my roadtrip. All I can say is that it has been all I expected.

And about today? Amazing. Rochester has been splendid.

Well not really, but nothing can be done with all this snow and wind--not to mention the freezing temperatures.

I have an alternate plan to leave Sunday and come back Tuesday when it is warm and sunny. Until then, I'm grounded.

Today has been a great day so far. Allegany has been a sight. If I make good time, I should be able to catch the other park past Jamestown.
