Need your opinion on this one...

A lot of people are asking if I am going to do a baby shower with this baby... I'm not entirely certain whether I should do one or not. The only things I really need are newborn clothes because all the newborn clothes that Gage wore really belong to Lorraine and I gave them all back to her. Of course diapers are always a good thing to have too many

You know, it all really depends on if you want all the people there who will be there. not necessarily WHO will be there, but HOW MANY will be there. once you figure that out, you should do just fine making up your mind

Well that doesn't seem to be a problem really.. For Gage's shower I invited every single person I could think of so that everyone had the opportunity to be there but this time I will only invite people that I can actually talk with for several minutes without a headache... So that excludes aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents and leaves only a few of my friends and certain family members that can actually make it.

It's not so much that I don't want to have to talk to people or socialize rather that I don't want to have to worry about organizing the damn thing. Even though Meghan and Trina want to throw it themselves I know they will end up deciding not to and I will be left with all the plans.... again. Which again wouldn't be such a bad thing but I'm too tired to worry about a shower or any kind of get together in the near future.

well, i'd figure that it's a very simple matter of saying show up at this place at this time, we'll have snacks and shit and just bring me shit i'll need for the new baby. you don't really need any more than that. unless you like big, elaborate showers. then i just don't know

That's kind of the point of a baby shower though... There are supposed to be activities and shite. Plus telling people to show up at a certain time is a lot more with my friends than it sounds.
