We are all God's children, and He loves us --- every one, and completely forgives all that we ahve done. ----Helen Steiner Rice

Proverbs 22:6 " Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

Thought:
Today repeat, "God loves me and forgives me."

Ah, that needs context. A Muslim, atheist, Buddhist, Hindu...they are not God's child. They are His creation, absolutely... but you are not His child until you are adopted into his family via faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior.

Just quoting Helen Stiener Rice. I think we are all His children however, some have remained in the fallen state. If they were to repent He would accept them just as you and I ought. In my personal opinion you are digging much deeper than I intended. We can all dig deep into the theology. But, if I were a sinner, unsaved. I would have a bit of hope within me by reading her (Helen) statement. And, that is what mant today need. I know the Bible and am never trying to mislead anyone. I thank you also for drawing my attention to your view (as true as it may be). It will help me in the future to try and look at things a bit deeper for Q&A that may appear. I wholeheartedly believe what you said however, do you see my point as well?

*nodsnods* I do. I don't mean to come off as a know-it-all. I just have a hard time when I see things that could be scripturally false. They could lead people astray. I think it's of the utmost importance to present God's word and message as accurately as possible and that will draw people to it and bring them hope. Like in Romans where it says to accept others just has God has accepted you, and that it will bring honor to Him (paraphrasing the verses). I love that verse and believe that it can be encouraging to lost people that they are to be accepted as they are: that they don't have to become this perfect or ideal person in order to be saved by grace.

So anyway, I'm sorry if I come off as some know-it-all....that is not my intention at all.
